'Komodo Sea Cleaners' Start Up Project
To set up a sustainable foundation run by local people that provides a boat vessel for local Indonesian people, local community groups, universities etc to be able to clean and care for their beaches, thier park, their environment, their community and their people.
To whom it may concern;
Together with friends Colleen and Tony, we are financially prepared to step by step create an opportunity to help local environmental & humanitarian people by providing a 'marine vessel' to assist the many Komodo start up organisations who are trying to protect their beautiful beaches, coral reefs and unique marine biodiversity.
Why a Boat & how Big?
In coastal and island areas boats are the only way for locals to access their coastal areas
Boats however are expensive to buy, operate and maintain. Boats face huge risks of deterioration and even sinking if they are the wrong people operate them, so few startups & foundations can afford to have them but without them they have to raise huge funds to hire them.
Who will use it, how will it be used?
Why create a locally run 'Rubbish & Research Boat foundation':
To be government and safety compliant the best way to legally operate is by setting up a local foundation.
Who will the Foundation
Why working using local people & working with government and local authorities is so important.
Starting Small: Firstly to provide a boat fight against Rubbish
to have a greater ability

Why we use a Backline / Frontline group system
Lombok Forgotten Children EF foundation project has proven without question that finding & having the right locals to run their own projects delivers significantly greater outputs, that require very little funding
